For 2008 and 2009, we will be unable to accept anyone into our Temporary Volunteer Program. We are most grateful for your interest, and will update this page when circumstances change for the Monastery. 

Temporary Volunteer Program

This "volunteer program" offers opportunities for women from all over the country to experience Benedictine life with the vowed membership of Benet Hill Monastery. Individuals share our life through presence at prayer, meals, ministry, recreational activities and input opportunities.

Volunteers live on campus. The Temporary Volunteer Program is meant to create and/or extend a relationship of mutuality and trust, and to encourage continual growth for its participants and for the Benedictine community with whom they covenant.
