Meet Our Staff
 |
MARILYN CARPENTER, OSB has a BS from Regis College, Denver; MA in
Theology & Pastoral Ministry from St. Meinrad’s School of Theology in Indiana; and an MA Psych
with an emphasis in Bereavement Counseling from Antioch University-West, Denver. She is certified as a hospital
chaplain by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, and has 30+ years
experience in teaching, parish and healing ministry, hospital chaplaincy and
bereavement education/counseling. She is also a certified Spiritual Director. |

PATTY DEGEN, BSN, RN is a certified Spiritual Director working with
individuals, groups and retreats through her Sonshine Ministry: Healing Hearts
through Spiritual Direction. She is a cardiac nurse and an educator in clinical
nursing and leadership, stress and lifestyle management, parish religious
education, spiritual direction, prayer group and team formation and prior member
of a national healing team. |

OLIVE THERESE GEIGER, OSB received her BA from Mt. St. Scholastica
College in Atchison, KS and her BA in Religious Studies from Regis College in
Denver, CO. She is a certified Spiritual Director. Her background includes
experience as a teacher and music teacher in both elementary and high school.
She has been a Director of Religious Education and church music in parishes as
well as director of private retreats.

JAN GINZKEY, OSB has a BS in Elementary Education with a specialty in
learning disabilities and an MS in Physical Therapy. She is a graduate of Benet
Hill Center’s Scripture Studies and Spiritual Direction Program. She is a
certified Reiki Master and Corporate Treasurer of Benet Hill Monastery. |

DIANE LISTON, OSB received her MA in Theology from St. John’s University,
Collegeville, MN. Her background includes years of experience in primary
teaching, secondary teaching, music and religious education. She has
been Director of Scripture Studies at the Center since 1983. |

THERESE O’GRADY, OSB holds an MA in
Theology from St. John’s University in Collegeville MN. She is the Director of
the Contemplative Outreach Program at Benet Hill Center and is a commissioned
facilitator by Contemplative Outreach LTD. She is certified in Spiritual
Direction through the Jesuit Program, Ministry Training: Focus on Leadership
Program and has taught spirituality for many years. |

CHARLOTTE REDPATH, OSB has an MA in Counseling Psychology from the
University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN and an MA in Art Education from Arizona
State University. She studied Spiritual Direction at the University of Notre
Dame. She is a psychotherapist, process facilitator, Spiritual
Director and professional artist and photographer. |

JOSIE SANCHEZ, OSB received her BA in Elementary Education from Regis
College, Denver and her MA in Special Education from UNC in Greeley. Her primary
experience has been teaching in Catholic and public schools, grades K - high
school. She has several years experience as a school principal and director of
parish religious education. She has taken numerous courses in Monastic
Spirituality and Spiritual Direction at St. John’s University in Collegeville,
MN. |

MARY COLLEEN SCHWARZ, OSB, RN was a
clinical instructor of nursing for the University of Iowa College of Nursing for
eleven years, and has a total of thirty years cardiovascular nursing experience
with a focus on critical care. Sister is a certified Spiritual Director, a
centering prayer group facilitator, and teaches in the Benedictine Spiritual
Formation Program. She is currently co-director of Vocations at Benet Hill
Monastery. |

FRANCINE STALLBAUMER, OSB holds an MA in Adult Christian Community
Development from Regis University in Denver. She completed a 9-month program,
Active Spirituality for the Global Community, from Mount St. Joseph on the Ohio
and Experiencing the Art of Spiritual Direction from Iliff School of Theology in
Denver. Her background includes experience as an elementary teacher and
principal, parish minister and retreat director. She is a certified Spiritual
Director and currently Assistant Prioress at Benet Hill Monastery. |

ANNE STEDMAN, OSB received her MRE from Seattle University, and
certification in Spiritual Direction through the Jesuit Ministry
Training Focus on Leadership Program and is commissioned as a
facilitator by Contemplative Outreach LTD. Sister is Executive Director of
the Benedictine Spiritual Formation Program and currently serves as
Prioress of Benet Hill Monastery. |

Scripture Program:
JOHN COX
has a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Texas, Austin and
a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of Northern
Colorado. He is a graduate of the 4-year Scripture program at Benet Hill Center,
has taught Bible Study for his local parish, served as RCIA catechist from 1995
to present and has lectured in film criticism for several groups.
SUE COX, RN has been a health care
professional since the 60’s who is interested in and passionate about health of
mind, body and spirit. She is a certified Spiritual Director and graduate of the
Scripture program. She has a BA in Religious Studies from Benedictine College in
Atchison, KS, and currently teaches Scripture at Benet Hill Center.
CLIFF EISENACH has a Master of Science Studies; Certified
Master Instructor by the US Air Force; is a graduate of the 4-year Scripture
Program at Benet Hill Center; and has attended numerous Scripture seminars.
JANE EISENACH has a Master of Arts
in Adult Christian Community Development from Regis University. She is a
graduate of the Benet Hill Scripture, Contemplative Prayer, and Spiritual
Direction programs; has been an assistant leader and facilitator in Benet
Hill's Spiritual Direction program for 6 years; and facilitated bible
studies and days of renewal in Colorado Springs parishes.
MARK KLINGER holds a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry
from Aquinas Institute of Theology. He is a graduate of the 4 year Scripture
Program at Benet Hill Center, and has 36 hours from Scripture/Theology at St.
Thomas Seminary, Denver, CO. LORIE WAUGH holds a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry
from Aquinas Institute of Theology. Lorie has studied Scripture for over twenty
years; facilitated a women's Scripture group at Holy Trinity church for five
years; received 24 credit hours of Scripture at Benet Hill Center from
Benedictine College in Atchison, KS.
