Benedictine Spiritual Formation Program is focused on personal transformation and spiritual growth.  BSFP was created to deepen each participant’s inner journey and to open new pathways of spiritual service including the ministry of Spiritual Direction.

Scripture Winter 2014 Classes

Join us online for our fall 12 week courses on Biblical Hospitality or Humility.  Biblical Hospitality will also be available “live” in Colorado Springs.  Intro to Scripture & Rule of St. Benedict along with class on Reverence at Benet Hill.

Lenten Journey – Seeing the Divine:  Prayerful Practice of Visio Divina

Visio Divina taps in the ancient practice of praying with Icons and Sacred Art.  Join Sister Ana and Ann Christensen for an eight week Lenten Journey through the Gospels.

Welcoming Prayer Workshop

The Welcoming Prayer is a method of consenting to Gods presence and action in our physical and emotional reactions to events and situations in daily life.  This Prayer helps to dismantle the emotional programs of the false self and to heal the wounds of a lifetime where they are stored – in the body.

Lenten Retreat – Ways of Seeing:  Praying with Images

Join us on this Lenten Retreat as Sister Ana leads us in Visio Divina with a variety of images from the past and present as we look at what icons “the windows of heaven” help us to see.

Trio Paradis Concert

Join us on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 2:30pm as the Benedictine Sisters of Benet Hill Monastery present the second in their series of chamber concert performances with the Colorado Springs piano trio, Trio Paradis in Our Lady of Peace Chapel.  Trio Paradis is:  violinist, Jeri Jorgensen; cellist, Pam Chaddon with guest pianist, Angelina Gadeliya.  Come join us for an afternoon of creative works of four important and extraordinary classical women composers.  Dedicated to the memory of Robin Kissinger and celebrating Women’s History Month.
