“Treat everyone as
Christ is practiced at Benet Hill."
"I am a better
parishioner because of what I learned at Benet Hill."
"The Sisters of Benet
Hill have graced my life through their charism."
"The Sisters have
impacted our children's lives and the growth
and understanding of their
spirituality."
These are just a few of the comments we received during the
16 Create a Benedictine Future with Us Capital Campaign Focus Groups held during
August through September. Over a hundred of our constituents and supporters
shared their invaluable input about Benet Hill's impact on their lives, the
strengths and weaknesses of our ministries, and suggested areas where we could
focus and/or expand our outreach.
Using the information we received we are revising our Case for Support to
include the input from the Focus Groups. Also, in October videotaping was done
at Benet Hill and the Pines for a video that will be a useful tool during the
Major Gift Solicitation phase of the Capital Campaign which will begin after the
first of the year.
An online survey was created and is available on our website:
www.benethillmonastery.org. We're encouraging everyone to take a few minutes to
complete this brief survey which will give us additional input as we plan the
next step of our journey.

The
Sisters have been busy working with architects Bill Beard and Rich Smith on the
plans for the new Monastery and Ministry Center. Below is the rendering of the
wing that will house our new Chapel, library, bookstore/gift shop, healthcare
and living quarters.
