Benedictine Spirituality Center in the Pines Retreat Center is situated on 44 acres of Ponderosa Pines in the Black Forest, 30 minutes north of Colorado Springs, and one hour south of Denver. The retreat center is owned and operated by the Benedictine Sisters of Benet Hill Monastery.
The Sisters provide a quiet, prayerful, hospitable environment in a rustic setting where persons of all faith traditions are welcome to discover more fully their God and themselves through retreats (either private or directed), programs and workshops.
Accommodations are available for overnight guests, day groups and seminars. Our hermitage is available for an individual desiring an intense experience of solitude. Throughout the grounds, our guests will find a variety of unique prayer sites with interconnecting meditative paths conducive to quiet reflection and contemplation.
All guests are invited to participate in the Benedictine community life. The simple monastic rhythm of Liturgy of the Hours, Lectio Divina, and interaction with a small community offers gentle peace and tranquility. The recommended fees for a retreat or sabbatical at Benet Pines will vary according to the needs of the guests.
Take time to browse our gift shop filled with handmade items, including quilts, baby gifts, preserves, candles and original art all made by the Sisters of Benet Hill. We also have a wide selection of books from our programs, book review, prominent authors covering a variety of topics. Religious gifts, rosaries, medals and cards for all occasions.
We insure you'll find something to remember your stay at Benet Pines .
